Role Overview: As a Compliance Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of managing and supporting contracted EQR activities from the comfort of your home. You'll develop and manage work plans, timelines, and project tasks, ensuring the successful completion of compliance audits and reviews. Your role will involve coordinating with internal and external resources to achieve project goals and objectives, as well as monitoring compliance with State EQRO contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Project Management: Oversee and support EQR activities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Plan Development: Create, coordinate, and manage comprehensive work plans and timelines for EQR projects.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to key deliverables and support materials.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Compliance Tools: Assist in developing, distributing, and collecting compliance review tools and materials.
- Review Packets: Organize and manage the preparation of compliance review packets for health plans.
- Document Coordination: Coordinate document submissions and desk reviews from health plans.
- Compliance Reviews: Conduct on-site or virtual compliance reviews of Medicaid managed care health plans, with some travel required.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report data to support compliance review activities.
- Report Development: Draft compliance review reports and contribute to the annual EQR technical reports.
- Regulatory Research: Research and apply state contract requirements and CMS regulations to EQR activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Information Portals: Maintain internal and external information portals, including FTP sites, SharePoint hubs, and public websites.
- Project Communications: Coordinate project communications via various channels (written, electronic, phone, and fax).
- Protocol Maintenance: Maintain communication protocols with state agencies, health plans, and corporate entities.
- Task Support: Support EQR-related tasks as assigned.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project partners, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Deadline Management: Occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or a bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in compliance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Managed care and program evaluation/review experience in government, hospitals, health plans, state Medicaid agencies, or other healthcare-related fields.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, proficient in quality improvement practices, and adept with Excel and Word in the Windows environment.
- Work Style: Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and independently.
