About Us: Sincera Talent Partners is working with a leading medical device manufacturer in Long Island, NY, seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of electrical systems in FDA-regulated medical devices. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, collaboration, and problem-solving to ensure innovative products meet safety, compliance, and performance standards.
Who You Are:
A detail-oriented electrical engineer with experience in circuit design, PCB development, and embedded systems. You excel in troubleshooting, testing, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic components in medical devices.
What You’ll Do:
- Design & Development: Develop and test electrical circuits, PCBs, and power management systems for medical devices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet FDA,IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and EMC standards.
- Prototyping & Testing: Conduct design validation, failure analysis, and system integration testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to optimize device performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency improvements and risk mitigation strategies in electrical design.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design specifications for compliance.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in medical devices, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing.
- Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout (Altium, OrCAD), and embedded systems.
- Understanding of power distribution, EMI mitigation, and sensor integration.
- Knowledge of IEC60601, ISO 13485, and FDA medical device regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional teams with a collaborative, inclusive mindset.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with FPGA, microcontrollers, or wireless communication protocols.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and failure analysis methodologies.
- Bilingual skills to support a diverse workforce.
