This critical role will focus on ensuring that all products meet stringent aerospace quality and safety standards, including AS9100, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s reputation for producing reliable and high-performance aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant aerospace industry quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive corrective actions across production and supply chain processes.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection plans, test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Perform data analysis and generate reports on quality metrics, including scrap rates, defect rates, and corrective action effectiveness.
  • Work closely with customers to address quality concerns and ensure their satisfaction with final products.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant aerospace quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
