About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our 2nd shift team and ensure that our medical device components meet the highest standards of precision and compliance. This role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented professional who is experienced in medical device or precision manufacturing inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of medical device components.
- Utilize calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs, and other precision measurement tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in medical device or precision manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (CMM, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
